No Guilt
Jan 15 & 29, Feb 5 &19
It's a new year, time to turn over a new leaf and start afresh, but sometimes we have trouble letting go of the past. Maybe you have done things in your life, recently or a long time ago, that you just cannot forgive yourself for, and it is tough to move on. When you over-identify with your shortcomings, you unconsciously fabricate a false self-image that isn't you, but you instinctively relate to it as if it is. You must learn to see that whatever faults you have, they don't define you, so that you can start relating to your pure potential instead.
January 15 - You are Not Your Faults
January 29 - Turning Over a New Leaf
February 5 - Forgiveness
February 19 - Relating to Your Pure Potential
The Art of Mindfulness
March 4 - April 30 (no class on April 23)
There is a real skill to truly knowing your own mind. Maybe you have so many distractions in your life that you feel like you would not know your own mind if it were right in front of you! You live with it all the time, but do you ever make the time to get really still and quiet, so that you can actually check in with your own thoughts? Making this a priority is the beginning of learning how to control your mind, rather than always being at the mercy of every distracting impulse.
Each Class $10; $5 seniors/students/unemployed; members free.
Everyone welcome.
